Gone Fishin'

This past weekend Benj got Saturday off so of course he wanted to go fishing :) So Selu, Mischa, and I tagged along.. I was pretty excited cause I haven't been fishing with Benj yet. Well it was quite an adventure and we had a fun time! Mischa was LOVING being outdoors!

So we didn't have any folding chairs or anything so we figured we'd just pick up some cheap ones from walmart :) well Benj bought a pink and blue one and when we got to our fishing spot he pulls out the chair and they're tiny!!!! Well come to find out they're youth chairs for little kids :) We sat in them anyway (our bums barely fitting), and Mischa fit just perfectly of course.

Benj caught a baby turtle. He named him Melvin :)

So it just so happened that on this day the DWR (Wildlife Officer) was out checking for fishing licenses, and apparently Benj's was EXPIRED and the cop caught Selu holding on the the fishing poles and she doesn't have a license so he gave us two options: either get a ticket for $225 each and go to court, or buy temporary licenses for $50 bucks each and not have to go to court! Of course we'll take the cheaper option and took the temporary licenses for $100. I was so mad that the cop didn't let us go on a warning or something! SO dumb!!

Mischa took a nice lil' nap during all of this :)

Out $100 bucks for some little bitty fish, but a fun day!
