A Movie Under the Stars

 On Saturday night, we decided to take a family trip out to a drive-in movie theater we had heard about a few weeks back. It was in Georgetown, Indiana.... but just over the river/border and only took about 20 min. to get there. The movie started at 9:40pm, but we figured since we were going to see Transformers on the 4th of July weekend we should leave pretty early to get a good spot. So we hopped into the Pearl (our car) and made a short stop to wal-mart for cold sodas and oreos :) then headed to Georgetown. As always, it was such a beautiful drive as the sun was going down and the sky was clear. I always appreciate how green and lush it is here :) As you can see.. the air was really REALLY wet and humid, but no worries.
Mischa LOVED being there and taking in nature.. as did Benj and I. She loves loves loves to be outside, so she was in Heaven.

 So we arrived to this Drive-In at 8:30 and it was already pretty packed! But we still nailed a pretty good spot! > The place was so old and country... as well as the people ;) haha! But.. we were still lovin it!

Mischa made it just about half-way through the movie, before she started to get restless and so goofy. I'd try to stand with her and rock her to sleep but she was fighting it so bad! Benj took her on a walk for like 30 min. and she finally fell asleep. Benj missed most of the good parts... but still wasn't too bummed about it. Once the movie was over we could have stayed to watch Super 8 but it was already a quarter to 1 so we figured we should get Mischa home and to bed. But as we drove home we said it was a way fun experience, and we needed to do it again!...but leave Mischa with a sitter :) ha no we love her!
