we had a lovely easter.. away from our families and all the fun easter egg hunts.. but we still made time to celebrate! We did not do easter baskets this year.. it was never a tradition in my family to do them (probably because there were so many of us, and we didn't have the extra money to do them).. so we may not do it in our family, but we'll see. Here are Benj's 'easter gifts' to me:

I think he just wanted to make our porch look cute, but i'll accept his notion that he did it for me :)
Instead of easter baskets my mom always made an easter cake. So this is my first one :) it turned out cute, except I swear I did put frosting in the middle but it somehow melted before we cut into it! Anyway, we had a bunch of friends over to help us eat it.. a fun weekend!
